Once you are done being stuff to the gills from Turkey Dinner Day/Night and you need way to work off all the inevitable leftovers, you owe it to yourself to check out the Southridge Rec Center. The Nutcracker Highlights is a festive way to keep the holiday cheer alive, the high from Thanksgiving still riding and usher in the next month of Christmas activities.
Usher in the holiday season with an enthralling performance that brings to life a favorite holiday story of old. The International Youth Ballet returns to perform this one-hour family-friendly performance. Bring the family and join the Nutcracker Prince in this colorful and magical staging of a holiday classic! Tickets are $8 in advance or $11 day of, if not sold out all ages. Children 2 and under are free but must sit on a parent's lap. Two sessions to choose from: Saturday, November 24, 3:00 p.m. or 7:00 p.m. Please help support the dancers in the International Youth Ballet by bringing cash or check to purchase some baked goods at their bake sale. There will be a table set up at the event with plenty of delicious baked good for you to enjoy.
