Saturday, November 24th is Small Business Saturday in Clarksville TN. Small businesses have a hard time keeping the door open and competing with nationwide retailers and big box stores. Shopping small helps give them a boost and shows them locals still care about the small business owner and store owner. These are some I highly recommend.

Roxy Regional Theater

The Roxy Regional Theater- This community theater has given me so much enjoyment over the years as I am glad to recommend them. I have been able to pick up some deals on tickets and spend some fun evenings with friends and family. The Roxy offers famous productions buying tickets would be a unique gift. The tickets are available at the ticket office, by phone or online. The Roxy is located on the corner of First and Franklin Streets. Call them at 931-645-7699.

The Looking Glass- For specialty coffees and a sweet bakery treat stop in and check out the specially designed menu. The staff is friendly and the interior decor is eclectic and lively. You may even want to take some treats home for later. The Looking Glass is also a bakery and caterer located at 329 Warfield Blvd.

I love artisan gifts and you can find them at Seasons, the Museum Store in the Custom House Museum in Historic Downtown Clarksville. Local artist creations fill the store and I guarantee you will find something interesting and new. Come check out the pottery to handmade jewelry, to artwork to books, there are good gift ideas for all. Seasons is located on North Second St. at the corner of Commerce St.

Michael's Pizza & More in Clarksville TN

In Sango, at 2690 Madison St. or near Governors Square Mall at 2764C Wilma Rudolph you'll find the best pizza and subs in Clarksville. Michael's Pizza & More always has a buy one pizza of any size and get the second of equal size for half price. The frozen custard is rich and creamy and delicious. Buy it in quart containers and take some home.
