Visit Old Ellicott City this Small Business Saturday

More than 65 small businesses are open in Old Ellicott City and all need your support! Make your way to Ellicott City's Main Street tomorrow, on Small Business Saturday, get some Holiday Shopping done, sip a cup of hot cocoa, grab some lunch and just enjoy the Holiday flair!

Old Ellicott City ReopenedMain Street Holiday Wonderland lies just on the other side of this bridge. Although we are missing some of our old favorites, many stores have reopened and storefronts have been beautifully decorated - pictured below is Sweet Elizabeth Jane. There are sales and specials all weekend and more special events all throughout December (Girls Night Out, Midnight Madness and more).

As always, there is plenty of free parking! Stores are open until 9 pm tomorrow for Small Business Saturday!

And while you are there, why not pick up a golden star and add a message and/or your name? The stars will decorate the holiday tree on Main Street... the tree lighting ceremony will take place at 6 pm on December 7th during the Old Ellicott City Midnight Madness event.

I love downtown shopping Andrea Bedard even though it's harsh on our streets in the winter it really beats "the mall".

I won't be shopping tomorrow, but I do try to shot local as much as I can all through the year.  But tomorrow I will be working.

I definitely try to support small businesses more than big businesses, especially when I know and care about the owners.

I couldn't agree more William, I try to avoid big box stores as much as possible!

I find it much more enjoyable than shopping at the Mall, Bob! Wish I could get all my shopping done on Main Street USA.

It's a rainy day up here Tammy.. that's one reason I shopped on Main Street Ellicott City yesterday! But I do hope that they were busy today as well.

Isn't that the best Brian? I wish I could exist by just shopping at and supporting small, locally owned businesses. I try as much as possible though!
