Christmas on the River, Clarksville TN
It's OPEN, the Annual Christmas on the Cumberland opened on Tuesday, November 20 for the season. Thousands of people come out to see the twinkling lights and they come from all over Middle Tennessee. The display is free and open to the public every evening until January 1, 2019. The location is at the Riverwalk on Riverside Dr. in McGregor Park.
While you are in the area check out Downtown Clarksville with the many decorated buildings including the Historic Montgomery County Courthouse, small businesses and many of the banks. The street lights are decorated and be sure to see Downtown Commons The Downtown area of Clarksville has many of its buildings decorated, the streets lights are adorned and the courthouse is covered in lights for the Christmas season.
Times are 5-10pm Monday through Thursday, 5-11pm Friday through Sunday.
Remember, the light show will continue until January 1st but you don't want to wait until the last minute in case you want to go back for a second or third viewing. There are a million colorful lights, some twinkling, music and carols playing and moving displays.It will put you in the holiday spirit.
Christmas on the Cumberland is sponsored by the City of Clarksville and other businesses. This is one of the fine events presented throughout the year that make Clarksville a great place to live. Christmas on the Cumberland welcomes families and friends and even your pets are invited to the outdoor displays.
