Ditmas Park is a neighborhood in western Flatbush in the New York City borough of Brooklyn, east of Kensington – which explains where it is but not the details that make it such a unique place! The Ditmas Park Historic District includes 172 buildings, mostly residential, built between 1902 and 1914. The District also includes the stunning brick Neo-Georgian Flatbush Congregational Church.

Every Sunday, there’s a Farmer’s Market, and Newkirk Plaza, an open-air mall of 30 retailers, recently underwent a million-dollar facelift.
This vibrant and exciting neighborhood flourishes under the Ditmas Park Association, which was founded in 1908. They host social events and publish a newsletter for residents, as well as working on numerous civic issues. The Flatbush Development Corporation hosts an annual Victorian Flatbush House Tour.
The B and Q trains, and several express buses service Ditmas Park, making it accessible for everyone seeking great food and gorgeous homes!
