Reflections on a reflection.

Real Estate Agent with Jameson Sotheby's International Realty

This is the time of the year when one begins to reflect.  And, no, I'm not talking about the bathroom mirror.

The year is quickly wrapping up... did you accomplish all you wanted to accomplish?

Did you spend as much time as you wanted with your family? Did you get to take those vacations you wanted?  Were you able to attend family life-events?

Did your business ramp-up (or slow down) as you wanted?

There are so many simple life-goals we set, all year long... I want to sell that big house... I want to take my extended family on a cruise... I just want to pay all my credit-cards down... or pay all my bills on time...

Or perhaps you had some bigger goals... buy/sell your own property... a wedding... bar-mitzvah... quinceñera... or just learn to have some life-balance.

How did this year treat your goals?  If you haven't made them yet, there's no time like the present.

I got some, I didn't get others.  Bought an acre of land from the neighbor.  More or less hit my real estate target for the year.  Took my mother on a cruise that she loved.  As for most of the other stuff, kind of same old, same old.  Bill

Alan May - So far this year, a lot of things happened that were from out of left field. One of the most memorable is dark chocolate is now good to eat and romaine lettuce is deadly!

I threw so many goals out the window when the grandson was born.  No regrets and yes I spent an amazing amount of time with my family.  My blessings abound.  And although I threw the work goals out the window I'm still surpassing those too.

Morning Alan.

I don't believe I'll reach my goals this year.  However, that has not stopped me from moving forward.

Alan, yes I achieved my biggest goal ever. I beat cancer this year. Everything else sort of pales by comparison.

At 70 I am still waiting on a trust fund but since that aint happening I still work at 70 but mostly for fun now not for necessity. I am working still on my exit strategy which should come in the next 4 to 5 years.
