When buying real estate in the Park City, Utah area it’s important to use a buyer’s agent to protect you! This story can apply to someone looking to buy in the Park City area in any price range. On Sunday at 9:00 am I received a call from a gentleman that I’ll refer to as “California Mike.” He had recently purchased a property from a developer and wanted some additional information about his property and the building process. I was able to unravel what had happened when California Mike purchased a lot in a gated community - I discovered that he had no idea what membership he had purchased, what the monthly costs were associated with the membership, and he didn’t know what was included with the monthly fee. California Mike also didn’t have a solid understanding of the cost to build a home on the Wasatch Back. The cost to build his dream home was substantially higher than he planned on paying. Even though California Mike didn’t work with me to purchase the land I introduced him to a local builder that I frequently work with because the builder offers a great product at a fair price. I also used this opportunity to help California Mike so when the time is right for him to sell the property, he knows he has a trusted real estate advisor to help.

When buying property in the Park City area I offer a full-service buying and selling experience.
