I still remember when Bank of America would not let me cash advance my credit card in March of 2009.
I was standing in my kitchen, at my dishwasher speaking to customer service and making sure that I can cash advance it before I was going to walk into the bank to do it.
The limit was $65,000 and the balance was $59,000.
It took a long time to pay that debt completely off, but I did it.
Along the way, I had to constantly listen to friends tell me how I had no life and I needed to go out more and enjoy things.
But days off, vacations, sick days and going out was not going to pay off $600,000 of credit card debt.
For as difficult as those days were, I learned a lot about myself, my goals, my dreams and my commitments and during the holidays, I always kept everything in perspective.
I woke up thankful to be alive (since I had 2 near death experiences) and thankful to have a shot at another day.
For today, get up, get going and get after it!!
Win one day at a time and you shall conquer the world. Have a great day my friends!!
Btw, if you are where I was and you need some advice, get ahold of me!! I am with you and will help as much as I can.
