Are you one of the people that love to make their own decorations? Or put up Christmas early? Either way we have a great craft for you! I Choose to share how to make an ornament wreath, because I will be trying this out this year! I would love to see how yours turned out!

*Found on Pintrest*

Time: 40 minutes

Materials:

Wreath frame
Hot glue gun
Tinsel garland
Ornaments in varying sizes

DIY Ornament WreathI started by wrapping my wreath frame in tinsel. This step alone would make an adorable wreath and would really only take about 5 minutes. After that I just glued my ornaments to the frame and then together with a hot glue gun– first with the large ones, then I filled in the open spaces with smaller ones + jingle bells. I like the fact that you can still see some of the tinsel, but if you don’t, just add more bulbs to yours.

DIY Ornament WreathOverall, I really love how it turned out and was a bit surprised by how easy it came together. For the price (I found my ornaments at Target; the set was maybe $20 and I had several left over), you really can’t beat it. I would say that the hot glue isn’t as durable as pinning the bulbs would be in the original tutorial. I do think this method is faster and that if you really wanted to secure everything that you could go back in with E-6000 glue.

That's very creative.  I'm always looking for new holiday ideas this time of year.

nope.  Never again.  last year my daughter and I made an attempt at making a wreath and well .... fail.  This year I found someone much more creative than me on etsy.com and happily paid them too much money to have a beautiful wreath delivered to me.
