2018 Holiday at the Rancho in Carlsbad on December 1
The holiday season is well under way in Carlsbad, with lots of special events for all to enjoy. This coming weekend is a busy one, with the 34th Annual Holiday Tree Lighting in Carlsbad Village on Sunday the 2nd, and the Artisan Crafters Showcase on Saturday in the Village.
December also starts off with the annual Holiday at the Rancho at Leo Carrillo Historic Ranch in Carlsbad on Saturday the 1st.
The 2018 Holiday at the Rancho, getting in the holiday spirit with a bit of western history, will run from 5 – 8 PM at the Leo Carrillo Ranch Park, located at 6200 Flying LC Lane off Melrose in Carlsbad in the Rancho Carrillo area of Carlsbad, about a mile south of Palomar Airport Road.
The Holiday at the Rancho offers a host of fun things to see and do – face painting, holiday crafts and shopping, holiday themed activities including cookie decorating, festive entertainment, train rides, and the holiday tree lighting ceremony with Santa on the sand by the pool at 5:45 pm. Photo opportunities will follow or you can purchase souvenir photos.
Kids can also enjoy the outdoor holiday movie on the big screen, “The Muppet Christmas Carol” beginning at 6 pm. Food and beverages will be available for you to purchase.
The Leo Carrillo Ranch will be festively decorated with loads of colorful lights and holiday décor that is sure to delight everyone and put you n the holiday spirit!
Tickets for Holiday at the Rancho are $10.00 per person; children 3 and under are free. You can purchase your tickets online, or call (760) 602-7519 for more information.
Parking is limited at The Ranch, but you can park on adjacent streets or at the Leo Carrillo Elementary School close by.
