Nature Inspires - The Harmony of Connection at Home and Work

Real Estate Broker/Owner with ViewHomes of Clark County - Nature As Neighbors

"When we recognize the virtues, the talent, and the beauty of Mother Earth, something is born in us, some kind of connection. Love is born."

       -Thich Nhat Hanh

Nature inspires us. We find answers and lessons in Mother Nature. Our niche, ViewHomes of Clark County™, is built on this intrinsic link between people's health and well-being and their connection to nature. In other words, living in a home surrounded by the gifts of nature feeds our souls and reminds us we are all connected.

Harmony is a big deal in our world, especially for me, Debb. Ever notice how everything in nature co-exists with another part? This natural harmonious state is a great example of living a life that recognizes a connectivity to other living things. There is order in in the natural world without resistance, or judgment. It just is. Remembering this basic law of the universe seems essential to finding peace.

There is also magic in creation. It is dancing and manifesting in the environment when we take the time to notice. Perhaps that's why young children find such absolute joy in playing outdoors. They feel the connection! It's still fresh and new. Sadly, it seems, the older we get, the more we tend to forget our inner child and gravitate toward other things to bring us happiness.

Nature resets us, calms us, and relieves stress. Soothing views of nature, a walk in the woods, or on a beach, listening to the wind play in tree branches, all help this return to balance. It's a universal truth locked into our very being. Tapping into the reality of our shared energy reminds us to be gentle, to be kind, and to be responsible in a world desperate for our best selves- at home, and at work.

This is a post in Carol Williams December 2018 challenge, "What Inspires You?"  Thanks Carol!

ViewHomes™ grew out of our passion for nature, beautiful surroundings, and peaceful environments. Starting together in an urban environment, over the years we've gravitated towards areas with smaller populations and less density. We now enjoy our lifestyle in a rural environment, but with close proximity to metropolitan areas where we appreciate all the amenities of fine restaurants, shopping, and an easy drive to an international airport.
Living in ViewHomes™ is like having “elbowroom for the soul”.

Oh, we are kindred spirits, for sure, Debb! This morning, I was reporting a counterOffer to one of my buyers and happened to look out our back windows to see a 4-point buck sauntering past. I was deep in conversation and could not get outside quickly enough to capture him on camera - drats!

Wonderfully written post for Carol's challenge this month - already! I'm impressed! And, of course, you focused on something near and dear to my heart too.

Nature definitely is a recharger.  We are in the process of building a home in the woods, and we comment every time we are there that we feel so much better! I can’t wait until our home is built and we can enjoy nature as our neighbor!

Seeing nature is seeing reality. I look and realize it didn't all happen by accident. There is a plan in place.

This blog definitely resonates, Debb. I find my presence in Hawaii returns me to my 8-year-old self. I feel connected to the land, the ocean, the breezes, wildlife, vegetation, sunsets, rain showers, every fiber of my being is alive. It speaks to me.

Debb, I know the great outdoors is your inspiration, and being from Alaska, that makes perfect sense.  Hope no one you know had issues with the earthquake.

I am inspired by Nature as well. When I need to get grounded I will go to the beach ... that is my place where my personal connection with nature exists the strongest.  I can also watch birds, squirrels, all kinds of wildlife or look at a plant and feel the connection because it is real, it exists no matter what.
