The Market Might be Slowing, but Buyers Still Need a Home

The real estate market is slowing throughout much of the country, and here is no exception.

Sellers, don't let that discourage you. If this is the right time for you, there's no point in delaying. Properly priced and marketed, properties are still selling, and selling well. 

The most recent example of this is the lovely townhouse at 290 Beachview #38 in Pacifica.

Listed on November 1, two offers came in within hours of each other. The property is now under contract as of November 29, with only 1 short 5-day contingency. If all goes as expected, the buyers will be in their new home in time for the holidays, enjoying the tranquil ocean views. The sellers will be able to move forward on the next step of their life journey.

I am often asked, "when is the best time to sell," the short answer is "when the time is right for you." We then delve into more detail so the seller can determine what is best in her/his particular situation.

November has proved, once again, that homes do sell all months of the year.

Hello Nina Hollander - buyers removed their one and only contingency yesterday; we'll be closing later this month. I'd be happy to put another of these townhouses (or other properties!) on the market in December. The buyers out now are serious, commited buyers.
