Here is the most complete list of West Bloomfield lakes in Michigan. This includes all sports lakes in West Bloomfield and non all sports lakes. It all depends on what you want to do on the lake. This list below includes quite a few lakes that I consider ponds but for some reason somebody years ago called them a lake. They were not any bigger back then, but for some unknown reason they called these under 20 acres bodies of water.
The key to finding the best lake home for you is knowing what you and your family want to do on the lake. Are you content just to look at water? Do you want to fish? Are you a kayaker? Or are you a person that likes to speed around on a power boat? Do you or your kids want to waterski, surf, or go tubing? 
Or maybe you just want to putt, putt around the lake on a pontoon? Maybe you are a big entertainer and want to have friends and family out on the lake all the time. The biggest non all sports lake in the township is Green acrea at 100 acres. It's going to be a quiet lake with no gas motors on it as it an electric motor only lake. It's definitely a no wake lake better suited for sailing, kayaking, fishing, or going slowly around the lake on a pontoon. That is why you want to share what you want to do on the lake with me. You don't want to buy a house on Green Lake when you are a big water sports person. Believe it not I have met quite a few lake home owners that are selling because they bought on the wrong lake.
The biggest all sports lakes in the township are Union Lake, Pine Lake, Walnut Lake, Middle Straits Lake, and Upper Straits Lake. These five lakes are big enough to do any type of water sports on. They are all over.
