What is a Client Portal and How to Use It

 

What is a Client Portal. If you have been receiving emails from your Real Estate agent on listings you may be interesting in seeing . You should have also been sent an email explaining about the Client  Portal . Perhaps you have been using the Client Portal and know the value of the Client Portal .The Client Portal is even newer and improved . The Client Portal will allow you as a client to search the MLS and also communicate with your Real Estate Agent .

 

 

You can put a little heart to show you like the property and let them know you are interested and would like to see it . Allowing you the buyer to view the Client Portal  alleviates the need for the use of third party websites that do not have accurate information  .Sellers who are working with agents may also visit the portal if your agent is sending you emails to check the values of the houses in your area

Hannah Williams ~ the more we allow others to freely use our data; things like this will happen "Zillow selects KW franchise as partner for Charlotte iBuyer"

The play for pay business model as well as decreased fees is the future unless we start proactively cutting out the third party portals! (I hope I'm not the only one sickened by this story; how can anyone in our business like this new pay for play scheme?)

Jon Kolsky  i hope the MLS in your area follows the Bright concept  and uses the Client Portal .  When used it will eliminate the need to use third party franchise They will not be able to give the client the accurate information or communication this Client Portal will provide .I believe Google will be cooperating with SEO also . It is a wonderful concept

Hannah Williams ~ my MLS offers the ability to do the same thing. It looks like it takes some time to set up; I'm looking into it.... Hope this catches on! I am a bit surprised that agents are not discussing and talking about this more? And it would be nice for the MLSs to do a better job of getting the word out to agents and getting us better informed! This looks like the perfect tool for all agents

Same portal and set up in our area but it's called Matrix.  Clients do love it but from my experience they still surf the other sites too.  For me, it makes a great  CRM.

Dorie Dillard CRS GRI ABR  I agree with you . We need to educate our buyers and sellers that they can receive the same information we do by searching on the Client Portal instead of the third party sites

Ron Tissier  In my professional opinion it will take time . The third party sites spend so much money advertising their sites there will always be people using the sites . One day they may see that the information is not updated like the Client Portal  or as in your case Matrix

Brian England  It is fairly new and in time  may succeed
