This past Saturday, Dec. 1st was the 7th annual Zilker Park Trail of Lights Fun Run. Participants could run, jog or stroll through the 2.1 mile untimed course starting at the Zilker Holiday Tree near Barton Springs Pool and move through all the colorful lights and sights of the Trail of Lights. It gives them a chance to be among the first in Austin to see the Trail of Lights and beat the crowds!
Of cource our grandchildren, Beautiful Beckett and Handsome Hudson ran with their dad while their mom was runing a marathon in CA!
If you weren't able to join the Fun Run, but, would love to plan on seeing the Trail of Lights you're in luck! The Trail officially runs from Dec. 10th - 23rd from 7 to 10pm each evening. For all the details, be sure to visit their Austin Trail of Lights website.
