I have been an AT&T customer forever. I have been with them since they were Bell Atlantic. In short it has been about 40 years. In the area I live AT&T was the only service for cell service when I moved here. There were other providers but none had any service in my new small town. And so I stayed with them, overpaid, and was abused with every increasing prices without the ability to text. Whenever there were increases and I wanted to do better I was told I already had their best deal.
About a month ago, I paid my bill and asked to cancel my service. It was only then that I was offered a free phone, texting included and a prepaid account for half of what I was paying.
Long story short, there was no free phone, and the credit balance I was owed could not be refunded or applied to my prepaid service. I made numerous phone calls, was talked to like an errant child, was told to call another department. Each call was worse than the one before and there was never a manager available.
In total frustration I wrote to the CEO and sent it certified return requested mail. Today it came back to me saying they would not accept delivery.
So if you ever deal with this lousy company remember they don't care about you and will not ever correct their own mistakes. I am beyond frustrated and if you will re-blog this I would really appreciate it.
