How to Measure Return on Investment (ROI) of an event?

By
Real Estate Broker/Owner

Often I have encountered or Brokers Real Estate Consultants who have sponsored an event either social, sports or the real estate sector and the question has always been Is it worth it? Here I share some things you should consider before, during and after an event sponsor.

1) Target Market

As I've mentioned before, the first thing you do is perfectly define the target market you want to direct because without this any your results may be negative. On the other hand investigates very well the kind of people attending the event and assesses whether it is compatible with your target market.

2) Objective

Once you've made sure that attendees are compatible with your target market, defines very well what you want to get to participate, that is, want to expand your database for mailings, want more followers on your social networks, you want to promote your inventory, etc. This is most important because it is what defines the activities that you must perform during the event and supporting material whether you need flyers, iPad for registration, brochures, etc.

Normally event organizers estimate some number of participants, try to look out for a goal of people contacted in your stand for example.

3) Manage your database

Remember that the more contact information you obtain so much better about creating processes to classify each of the people with whom you have contact in order to provide excellent tracking. Do not send mass emails or messages, including more focused on the needs of your client is your message, you'll get better results.

What kind of events you have participated and how good was your ROI?
