Hanukkah --
Chanukah --
Festival of Lights -- 2018
Whatever your spelling for the holiday -- Chanukah is
a celebration of religious freedom and rededication to principles.
Traditionally, the "Menorah" sits in a front window, emphasizing the importance of religious freedom to everyone who passes by the home.

Jewish holidays begin at Sunset -- but actually 20 plus minutes before so one may enjoy every minute! So in the photo above, you can see the grandchildren of several ages lighting the candles JUST BEFORE dark.
Traditional foods include potato pancakes and jelly donuts. Recipe links.
Here's the glowing light reflected in the windows after dark.
This is my favorite image -- love the reflected light!

Happiness and Health and Safety to you and your family and friends.
Sincerely, Lynn
