Shouldn't Fair Moderating Be the Same for All? Confusion reigns!

Ok...slight beef here with a moderator or administrator on AR.  Just received the following Active Rain email regarding a blog I posted a few hours ago in the Sales and Marketing category...

..............................................................

"Your post 'Land Spreading out So Far and Wide! Give me the Countryside!' has been removed from the group 'marketing' by an administrator or moderator.

You should either review the guidelines for the group or contact this person if you have any questions.

If you don't wish to receive these emails simply uncheck Group Email in the Settings section of your Profile. They'll still be sent to your InBox.

You are receiving this email because you registered on ActiveRain. To update your communication settings, click here."

..................................................................................

(I actually received a 2nd one  as well for a different post within a few seconds of the first)

My beef is not that it was removed from where it was at...per se...as upon my review of the guidelines, it did not fit the definition buried on the site about the category.

My beef is that many blogs that are similar to mine are still showing in that same category.

Including some from days ago and some from today.

So my main beef is twofold:

1. If mine does not qualify for that category...why do the others qualify?

2. How come I receive an email saying it has been removed  "by an administrator or moderator" but I have no idea who that person is?

After reviewing the guidelines, I can see why it should not be in that category...and also why somewhere around 50% of the current blogs in the category should also not be in there...and yet are.

I am all for internet police and we need more of them...but just like in real life situations...........we need fairness across the board.  I am just searching for a fair answer!Mike McCann searching for the truth!!

Mike sorry to hear about your drama, I was in a group once and no questions asked one of my post was deleted for similar reasons... with that said I deleted myself from that group. BTW there are about five land groups you can join and no one cares:)Endre
