Buyers really do know when they've found the right house. They walk in and start figuring out where to put their furniture. It just feels "right." They smile. Say "ahhh" or "oooh".
Nice post!

Great post! I like the point that the "buyer forgives the flaws." Rarely does the perfect home meet all the the buyer's stated criteria. It's generally about an outstanding feature that allows them to compromise a bit on their other must haves. They always know it when they see it.

Sharlene Hensrud you've hit the jackpot on this - congratulations on a well deserved feature article. Such a great description of the checkpoints that show you, when you know you've found the right home.

Great article. This is exactly what happens when a buyer finds the right home. I shared your post with my buyer client. She's having a hard time finding what she wants in her price range. I basically told her what you mentioned in this article while we were viewing homes, but having another voice to hear it from is great. You are spot on. Thank you.

Thanks, Crystal. The more places you hear the same thing, the more likely it is to sink in!
That was very well written and tells it like it t is! Congrats on the feature.

Excellent blog! Especially the part where you identify ways you know if you've found the right home...so true, it's ofen a feeling that you get when walking through the home.

You're right, Christopher... most people don't buy their dream house, they create their dream house. However, most people recognize when they have found a place they can both afford and transform into their home.
Much good is found here...
