We took this photo ( pictured above) this morning at one of our favorite places for imported gourmet foods. They also import some wonderful reasonably priced French Bordeaux, which we have enjoyed.
This the apartment/condo building next to Metropulos. We love the combination of various tiles, and the large succulents in the borders next to the stairs. Every day, treasures abound around here, regardless of where we find ourselves in Santa Barbara County...A

Santa Barbara is really one of the most beautiful communities. Somebody really got the ball rolling long ago in terms of planning. It just doesn't seem to have that hodge podge we see in many other cities in terms of architectural design. So many of the buildings appear to have had an artist's eye involved.

Hello Ron and A, I hope to make it back to Santa Barbara sometime to check this place out. I think last time I was there we had burgers at maybe Ernies. back and white tile floors.
