Between trying to reach a human being at AT&T to no avail, losing Spectrum service and not able to get anyone to fix it and calling Social Security to no avail I am tired. I decided I am going to take a break. There is no customer service anymore and I need to clear my head. So if you hear me and understand step up when you can and if not respected and appreciated for your professionalism..........next.
Sometimes getting through to the "right" person at AT&T is an issue. I remember losing internet connection once. I called the number offered up for the "Internet" section on my phone bill. The first person was located in Mexico. They couldn't resolve it, and transfered me to a guy in the Philapines. He had me crawling around on the floor, and rebooting my computer. While we waited for the reboot, he educated me about the size of rats in their country. Did you know they are the size of chickens there, and they actually eat them? Finally, after resolving the problem wasn't inside my house or with my equipment, I was transfered to someone in Missouri, who determined it was something to do with their equipment box out near the major road to my house.

Oh Myrl. It is so hard to cope with this. I bought a new phone because a repairman at Spectrum said my portable landline was shot and may have impacted the other phones. It didn't. So that's next week. Have a good evening. Sheila
What's your go-to stress relief to help deal with crummy service (other than screaming-LOL!) Cuddling with the dogs is my guess--hope it helps.

Morning Sheila.
Exactly why I left AT&T. That was 4 years ago, so glad I did.

Hello James. Sadly in my area they are the only ones for cell service in my town. TY Sheila
When you do get great service you never forget it and you recommend others. I feel that way about Apple, Lexus, and Chase Private Client service.

ATT works o.k. and Verizion is excellent here in my part of the Oregon coast. Let me know what you need for a house and I will write it up! Then when you move here, move to Verizion. Just an idea!

Hi Rob. It is so good to see you again. You crack me up and I miss you. Re-blog if you like. It wouldn't hurt. TY Sheila
I feel your pain Sheila Anderson customer service is a lost art...so frustrating how much time and patience it takes to resolve what should be simple issues. A cocktail and quiet time with the pups is my recommendation!

I have learned that a good speakerphone and something to occupy my time while I wait on hold is a part of what is required these days.

Bad customer service is sadly what we have come to expect. It's such a wonderful surprise when you get great service!
I hate call cellphone companies...
