The Alameda’s Farmer’s Market is open to the public Saturday, December 8, and Tuesday, December 11 mornings from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm, rain or shine.  All the fruits and vegetables are available at great prices.  So good! Don’t miss the opportunity to shop for delectable fruits, vegetables, and flowers.  The market is on Haight Avenue at Webster Street and is open rain or shine.

Alameda Holiday Home Tour on Saturday, 8 from 9 am to 4 pm.  Tour homes decorated for the holidays, attend a holiday tea and visit the gourmet shop and holiday artisan boutique at the Alameda Elks Lodge.  Tickets are $40 the day of the tour. The tour is a benefit for the Alameda Family Service. Tickets at alamedaholidahometour.com or 629-6208.

 

Alameda South Shore Center and Off the Grid food trucks will be at South Shore on Saturday, December 8, from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm in the South Shore Center parking lot in front of Petco.

 

Crab Cove for Family Nature Fun Hour features “Hibernation & Migration”.  Then find out what’s new at the cove on Saturday, December 8, and Sunday, December 9 at 2:00 pm.  Crab Cove is located at 1252 McKay Avenue. Please call 510-544-3187 for more information.

City of Alameda Tree Lighting Ceremony at City Hall on Saturday, December 8 beginning at 4:30 pm.  Tree lighting at 5:30.  Featuring Oakland Youth Chorus, Alameda Adaptive Arts, Alameda Community Band, and Tap Dancing Chrisman Trees and Santa.  City Hall is at 2263 Santa Clara Avenue in Alameda.
