December Heat Wave Turns North Dakotian's To Animals

By

Clear skies, no wind, and 30 degree temps sent many families to the Roosevelt Park Zoo today. The parking lot was full. Here are some shots from my walk this afternoon.

Here is the perfect Christmas inflatable to have in front of the Zoo.

The perfect Christmas Outfit to show off to the bears.

Despite the heat wave I'm guessing Teddy was pretty cool in the saddle.

Heatwave? I think you made a typo. You said 30' temps. Did you mean 80' temps?

I wish I did Joseph Domino 480-390-6011 but up here on the North Coast it could just as easily be 30 degrees BELOW Zero so this is feeling really good.

I hope the storm misses you as well Anne Corbin I know many drivers in your area are not used to snow and that is what makes it so dangerous.

Beautiful! And so much fun. But 30 is a heatwave? I just can't. I'm freezing @ our 70!

Good morning Bob. Many will think you are nuts for thinking 30 is comfortable. Me, not so much! Enjoy your day!

Endre Barath, Jr. I consider anything above 20 degrees in December a "bonus" around here. 30 degrees is a delight. Glade your temps are back to normal so you can enjoy your weather. Have a GREAT day .

James Dray we are expected to hit around that 37 mark tomorrow and you will probably see every one in town out enjoying the day. Of course if it's windy and ovecast they will also stay indoors.

Candice A. Donofrio it's amazing how people adapt to our weather. We get so many folks from down South because of our base and yes they are frozen the first couple of months of winter but that 1st spring like day they are also out there in shorts and tank tops when it gets above freezing.

I'd keep you warm Nina Hollander . I heard on the news this morning that the Charlotte airport is closed because of this big storm... please stay safe.

If 30 degrees is a heat wave, then I don't want to be there, haha.  That is way too cold for me, especially knowing that it gets way colder than that.

Myrl Jeffcoat these temps are a huge blessing to us. It's good for business and industry not to mention those of us that fear high heating bills.
