What is Happening in the Sacramento Housing Market?

By
Real Estate Agent with RE/MAX Gold DRE #00697006

Things are beginnng to look up in November in Sacramento. December has taken off like a bang, too. At least for me, I don't know how well other agents are faring. I can tell you that September and October were very slow months, which has been out of the ordinary for me. Did not take very many listings or close as many as usual. However, right after Thanksgiving, the market seems to be renewing itself.

I managed to list 5 new homes in Sacramento over the past couple of weeks and sold five. You can read more in my personal blog today at this link: Sacramento Housing Market November 2018 Report.

Elizabeth, you always seem to have listings, and odd that those two months were slow.   CHEERS to November/December!

Barbara Todaro I don't pay attention to how many sales I close until the end of the year and rarely tally commissions because I focus on the business at present. That's my M-O. So when I notice a slow down, it's generally because communications drop off, and that's when I discovered I hadn't closed my norm. Normal for most agents in my neck of the woods is 2 to 3 sales a year. Busier agents do 1 or 2 a month. I'm not really in either of those categories.

Joan Cox Well I have more sales pending than I do on the market at the moment. Need to get a few more, LOL.

Things were quiet for us November, but also picked up in December. Although, we don't do the volume you do with listings. You well-oiled machine, you. :)
