Passion: Having a strong and barely controllable emotion is what the dictionary description of passion is.
Another definition: the suffering and death of Jesus.
Do you have the passion needed for sales success? It is definitely one of the requirements.
I know I have been in sales almost 40 years.
And many have pointed out to me they can see how passionate they see I am in what I do.
Work: The definition I have heard of some in the past: doing something and getting paid for it. If you are performing well above average in sales, you will get paid for it.
Fun: When you are having fun at what you do, it places you on a completely different level of most people in the world, because most people are not having fun.
That is why I continue at the same level I did when I began in 1978 with Tom Young & Associates in Columbus Ohio.
Serve: You know people who have served our country in the military. I did that in the U S Navy for four years, when it came time for “shipping over” as the Navy called it, I said: “I will pass, I have served, and it is no longer fun.”
For many years I have served my clients and customers as a real estate agent, and I continue to want to do it over and over every day.
I even have three promises none of the other 45,000+ agents in Arizona offer.
Persist: Continue firmly or obstinately in an opinion or a course of action despite difficulty. Is how Google is describing it.
And very often, almost every day in sales, you must take action despite of the difficulty.
IF you are in real estate sales, and not having these levels, maybe it is time to look at making a change… Check this out, when you have 27 minutes alone in the next 24 hours.
