Have you already written down your goals for 2019? Are they SMART? To define "SMART", we mean: Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Results-focused, and Time-bound. Let's break it down for you...
Here is how to create SMART business goals:
Specific
How specific are the goals you set? Do you want to increase lead generation? Or do you want to gradually increase lead generation by 15% month over month? The more specific the better, because it takes us to the next item...
Measurable
Having a measurable goal is easier if you can specifiy what you are trying to measure. "More leads" doesn't mean much if you aren't able to define what "more" means. Be sure you are tracking this data each month, so you can adjust your approach accordingly.
Acheivable
Are you setting realistic goals for yourself? It's okay to shoot for $1 million in revenue, because other agents have done it before...but based on how much you produced this year, is it an acheivable goal?
Results-focused
2 questions: Why are you accomplishing this goal? What are the results of this goal?
Time bound
What is the deadline for this goal? $1 million in revenue is a good goal, but will you acheive it in 1 year? Or 5 years?
For a more comprehensive introspection into your own goals for the following year, we have created a guide for you to get you there.
