Another month gone. I have to ask, are you reaching your goals? If you took your year to date production, divided by five and then multiplied it by twelve, would you earn what you want this year?
For me, being honest I have to say a resounding NO. So today I began looking at what I have to do to get back in the game. I am not blaming the economy, even though I easily could. I am not blaming the mortgage crisis, although I easily could. I am looking in the mirror and considering what am I not doing and what do I have to do differently starting in June to catch up to where I had originally planned for the year.
I just finished reading an email from a good friend. He sent me 76 ways to find mortgage loans. So in June, I am going to roll my sleeves up and start back to work. I am going to set new goals for June through December.
I am taking responsibility for not being able to get the loan volume that I had anticipated.
Now for May's success story. A couple moving down from Kansas was wanting to buy a home. They had good scores but, had 1X30 on their mortgage loan. Working with the client, since April 24th, I was able to close the loan giving the client a nice 6.50% loan.
