Best Trait: Outrageous creative ideas that pan out when they shouldn’t

Biggest fear: That we aren’t leaving a better planet for our children and grandchildren

Favorite time of the year: Summer

Favorite drink: Hot spiced cider

Early bird or night owl? I’m an early bird

Favorite song:  “Andante, Andante” from “Mama Mia Here We Go Again”

Ghosts, are they real? Yep, I think so

Hometown: Although I was born in Kansas, it was an accident. Anything that happens in Kansas is an accident. I have lived in Sacramento since the age of 3 weeks.

In love with: A couple cats – Reuben and Camilla

Favorite Holiday Song: For some odd reason, this season I have learned to like, “Baby It’s Cold Outside.”

Favorite Movie: “Paint Your Wagon”


Last time you felt happy: I’m happy most of the time

Number of siblings: Seven

One wish:  Success for all my children and grandchildren

Person you call the most often: My daughter


Question you're always asked: “What are you gonna be when you grow up?”

Reason to smile: My life is uncomplicated and beautiful in its simplicity

Song last sung: I don’t sing. My songs are an assault on the ears, even mine.

Your favorite ''toy'': I’m sitting here thinking. I don’t have any toys. I need to fix that one of these days.

Underwear color: Really, you are asking me this question?

Favorite Color: Red, which should give you an indication of the answer for the preceding question.

Worst habit:  Being a little obsessive about something once I take an interest.

Favorite room/space in your house:  My kitchen.

Secret Vice/pleasure: A good nap

What I hate: I have an intolerance for intolerance.

I know the "Older than dirt" saying.  If I remember correctly, it may have been said by Olympia Dukakis in the movie, "Steel Magnolias."

Hi Myrl Jeffcoat - I really enjoyed reading your "Nitty Gritty".  

Kansas was funny!  Speaking of older than the Gods... I remember "Paint Your Wagon". My memory was that it was so cinematic and bigger than life. I want to say I saw it in Hollywood at a theater that used 3 screens - almost mike being right in the movie!  

But this line defines you ....Best Trait: Outrageous creative ideas that pan out when they shouldn’t.

Sheri - What I remember most about Paint Your Wagon, was back when it was first released.  We had actually gone to the movies to see a double feature and especially to watch "Love Story."  "Love Story" played first, and after that emotional ending, on came the beginning of "Paint Your Wagon."  I sat there and thought, there is no way I can sit through a Western now.  And, then the casket came flying into the air.
