I am writing this in response to the challenge of Carol Williams in her December Challenge 2018: What Inspires You?

What inspires me is an interesting question.
I think one of the best things that inspires me is where I live and how I spend my mornings. I try to get up every morning before sunrise and walk down to the beach where I sit on the driest piece of driftwood I can find and think. The lapping waves and the calling gulls bring me peace and a positive thought process. I often share these pictures on my daily blog posts.
From time to time I am able to share my Beach with a curious grandchild or my wife on occasion.
I can sit there for hours and just think about my life; how's it is and what changes I would like to make. I guess that sounds rather boring; however, this just gives my life meaning and makes me very happy. I never leave the beach disappointed because the ocean is my friend and makes me whole.
