Facebook Fridays - Tips to Get Ahead of the Social Media Game!
There is no single correct way to generate new biz on this platform so we can all be as creative as we want to be.
~ Facebook Marketing Tips ~
Another year is nearly in the books. That begs the question...did you achieve everything you wanted via social media this past year? Perhaps you overachieved? Maybe you stumbled out of the blocks but eventually found your footing? Is your SM presence steady and holding? Did you have paralysis by analysis and do nothing? With a new year on the horizon, it is another opportunity to get things moving, keep them going, or continue to do nothing and let others reap the rewards.
Here are 3 things worth considering about Facebook marketing as 2019 approaches...
- Successful Agents Find Business. I have yet to meet a successful person in this industry who sits back and waits for biz to find them. All of them, every one, seeks out new opportunities to get seen, heard, and found. With over 2 billion Facebook users, we all have access to more consumers than we can find anywhere else. Think about that before you dismiss or give up on finding success with FB marketing.
- You Determine Your Way Forward. One of the reasons I continue to utilize FB to generate new prospects is because I can create my own narrative. So can you. There is no single correct way to generate new biz on this platform so we can all be as creative as we want to be. Doing videos, using ads, running quizzes/contests, using questions to increase engagement, sharing photos, establishing calls to action, using (or not) templates, and a host of other methods are available.
- It is FREE. I talk with and read about agents who throw their hard earned money at the next "shiny thing" all the time. Why waste the cash when you can literally market 365 days a year for free on Facebook? All it costs is a few minutes of your time. I know we can all squeeze 5-10 minutes out of our busy schedules. We do for the other important business things, many of which generate zero income.
Now is the time to make that commitment to improve or start your 2019 FB marketing. Someone will end up working with those local clients who are searching through FB, why not make it you!
