Maybe the seller will agree to it.

My client said, BUY!

They loved the home and didn't want to lose it.

But, they really didn't want to move in the winter.

"Would the sellers wait until  April to close?"

Well I responded, we can ask.

Buyers had already sold their home and were living with parents.

Sellers were older and said they would love to wait until spring.

You never know unless you ask!

Snow is going away.  Great time to move!

Good morning, William Feela no one knows what the market will be next April.... rates are going up this month....your buyers may not qualify next year...or someone may lose a job!!!  NOW is the time....

Good morning William. If you don't ask, the answer is "no"! Enjoy your day!

Great point William Feela As I often say to my own clients "you don't know till you ask and what's the worst they can say? No? But maybe they'll say yes."

One never knows the answer until one ask the question. Glad it worked out for both your buyers and the sellers.

Thanks for sharing this story.

I hope the buyers are paying cash. A delayed settlement could be costly if mortgage interest rates go higher as expected.

My daughter would have loved that kind of buyer, but alas she will be moving 4 days before Christmas.

You make an excellent point about the importance of communication and acting.  I have seen clients agree to certain things that I would have otherwise thought they wouldn't, had I not asked!
