First-Time Sellers in Sacramento Have Questions

By
Real Estate Agent with Elizabeth Anne Weintraub, Broker DRE #00697006

Buying real estate is similar to having a baby. You tend to forget how painful it can be because the rewards are so great. If you could remember, you might not want to do it again. In my opinion, selling is much easier than buying but it can also be stressful.

One of the ways that I help my sellers avoid stress is by always being available for them, as much as I can be. And answering their questions, no matter what they ask as it is important to them and they deserve an adequate and informative answer. It all goes to me! Lol, lol, lol. That's the best. You make a great point though, there are no dumb questions, and we owe it to our clients to explain the various processes. It can seem second nature to us, but if you haven't gone through it, how would one know? Wires seem to be the number one choice of late -

Debb Janes EcoBroker and Bernie Stea JD When clients are feeling like it's a stupid question to ask in the first place, that is not really the time to make fun of their question, either. That doesn't stop me, though, if it's likely to generate a chuckle.

I don't see why, Endre. I have no idea what it feels like to have a baby, either, yet I can relate.

Elizabeth, first time Sellers SHOULD have lots of questions.  I had one young couple this year that sold, and RARELY had a question.   I had to think I answered their questions before they had to ask.

That's a good way to think about it. Or maybe they just trusted you to take care of things and didn't care?
