Christmas season has always been our favorite time of the year. That is by far the best and last holiday in terms of events and spirit which is just a few of the many reasons we love Christmas.
It is a time where relatives and loved ones get together after a busy year. People are happy with a holiday theme. It feels my heart with joy to see a flock of people spending quality time together to make their loved one’s jolly. That is also the time I complete my annual bulk donations to the charity organizations. President Trump this year has eliminated charity contribution for those file the standard tax deduction. It which will have an impact on the needy people and animals. Often the lower income contribute more to the needy.
People loved seeing the colorful decorations and passing by a house to see a tree lit up in the window. We have plenty of good memories to relate and be happy. My father-in-law would rent a truck get children to sing in front of church member homes.
Our family of 5 was once separated across three continents. For two years, I, as a teenager, was alone during Christmas. Communication was done by mail. I even heard strangers greeted me Merry X’mas. That was my only present. It was so good that we finally united at Christmas time that seemed almost magical with the feeling that everyone comes together.

I learned very early one that one needs to give before receiving. Christmas is an opportunity for giving, sharing, caring, and loving. It is a special treat that we get to experience only once a year. It is a time for bringing people together and expressing their love and unity. The compassionate nature of the Holidays encourages me to look a little deeper, to listen more to the sound of classical music, colorful decoration and movies. There are many who do not have Christmas or able to share as I have experienced. Every moment there is a gift waiting to be opened and remembered.
