Staging Tips: Go Bold With Blue

Services for Real Estate Pros with Get It Done For Me Virtual Services DRE# SL641317

It takes a certain amount of bravery to bring in darker shades of blue into a living room! Most of us like to keep it safe with neutrals, because that works for almost every home buyer. However, if you want to have an edge over your competition... I say, you must be willing to pull off something that's totally different.

Imagine yourself as a home buyer, going around several neighborhoods in a week and checking out countless of homes with similar-looking living rooms. They're all painted in light-colored earth tones, probably the same color you have in your own house!

Picture yourself, walking into a glamorous navy blue living room after viewing all of those homes... It's refreshing! It's something new! And it's definitely a listing you wouldn't easily forget. For tips on how to use this bold color when staging homes, please read this post:

It's written by my friend, Anita Clark, who happens to be an experienced realtor in Houston County. She may not be an interior designer, but she's someone who cares enough about details when staging homes for sale... simply because she understands how it can help in maximizing the amount of money her client can get out of selling their "lifetime investment."

Dear Katerina,

Already had that many years ago. Looks pretty. I am seeing the occasional gray fatigue, but it is still pretty common around here.

Hi Katerina... I can appreciate blue decor when I see it in pictures and have actually tried it in my own homes in the past.... but discovered I'm just not a blue person and was never all that happy surrounded by it. I guess I should have known that upfront as I never wear blue either.
