ATV Tour on Big Island is a Blast

Real Estate Agent with RE/MAX Gold DRE #00697006

I wish I could say that no muscles are involved with riding ATVs on the Big Island, but that would be somebody else talking. Not me. Every bone in my body aches today. And it's not just because I attended a stretch class or spent a good amount of time on the rowing machine the other day at my new club.

It's because I am so out of shape that really pressing pedal to the metal yesterday on the ATVs wore me out. I was covered in mud from head to foot. I outperformed everybody who was on that tour. Held back, and then let 'er rip. Bounced over hills, almost got myself thrown from the bike, but what a ride!! You can read more in my personal blog today at this link: If You Want to Ride ATVs on Big Island.

William Feela You should see my big honkin' bruise on that bone on the inside of my ankle. It's black, blue AND purple.

Elizabeth, my father used to tell me: Don't get old:)) I always gave him crap why he waited to tell so late... ATV are fun when you are in your 20's and pleasantly over indulged in alcohol... as you get older you experience the other factors, pain and suffering after the fun:)Endre

Dear Elizabeth,

Never used one. Glad you had fun. The memories will stay, the bruises will heal.

Good morning Elizabeth. Good for challenging yourself. I would be afraid of this.

Endre Barath, Jr. Well, hard to say if it was completely the ATV experience or the rowing machine. However, what's a bit of discomfort for all of that fun? That's an OK tradeoff to me.

Sheila Anderson Why would you be afraid of riding an ATV? You don't have to do what I did, gun it and go flying, LOL. I could not believe how fast we were driving through fields, over big clumps and bumps in the dirt. Or the two-feet of mud we sloshed through. Slamming through puddles of water was also great fun.

That would be a fun way to tour the island and it sounds like you did have fun Elizabeth! It always surprises me how much muscle it does take to go on a longer ATV ride!

Good for you, Elizabeth. I can just see you flying through the mud. I would have loved to join you - sounds like a superb day. Also, love the aches and pains that come from doing and living - reminds us we are alive and getting stronger.
