Holiday Treats - Thanks to Wonderful AR Family & Clients
I've been collecting delivery boxes again in my foyer and thought I had gotten all of them opened yesterday. Well, I missed two packages that I had dropped in the foyer while moving in a new piece of furniture last night. One of them had a special surprise...
A dear client of mine, who had a beautifully decorated home here in Charlotte, decided that when they moved, they were going a bit more contemporary. So, they either sold or gave away practically all of their furniture. They remembered how I had said that I loved their dining room hutch and offered it to me. They just Closed on their new property in Florida and will be back in Charlotte next week to Close on their sale here. So, it was time to pick up the piece of furniture and of course, it was raining cats and dogs yesterday! We got it put in place and of course, I had to move some things into the new cabinet before I could go to bed last night...still forgetting the boxes that were sitting in the foyer.
Now to the AR family gifts - what a TOTAL surprise! This incredibly delicious box of See's Chocolates arrived from a dear friend here (I won't call them out unless they want to 'fess up' in the comments)! OH, and there's a reason there are no See's Candies stores here in Charlotte and I'm thankful for whatever that reason; I would not be able to pass the store without stopping - these things are DEVINE! THANK YOU!!!
As well, this glorious patriotic ornament arrived with a lovely note that it was perfect for my foyer tree. WOW! Now THAT is attentive! I have a skinny white tree that sits in my foyer that is chartreuse and tiffany blue...and I'm a fan of anything patriotic - this ornament was the perfect addition to my skinny tree and is front and center for all who enter my home to see. THANK YOU!!!
We love surprising others with gifts and WOW! How special to be on the receiving end this week has been from such thoughtful friends. I'm so very thankful for the wonderful friends here in the Rain who continue to amaze me with your generosity, kindness and support. I adore you ALL!
