Elizabeth, how about a cat house with my kitties? Sounds like someone was trying to tell you how to market? OH OH...not good.

It was just some stupid agent. No shortage of those.
I find it funny when other agents are overtaken by their giant egos and feel the need to critique everything... I guess it keeps them from having to take a serious look at themselves.... you don't know what you don't know.

They don't stop to consider how they look to others because, you know what? They truly believe the world revolves around them, LOL.

Good morning, Elizabeth- - - it's about finding the right fit. The property. The players. The situation. At least that's the way I see it. As always, a thought-provoking post.

“Next are the buyers who want to become flippers but they don’t know what they are doing.”
Boy, have we seen the repercussions of that, especially when those home were remarketed once they were through with their experiment!

I think these people were spared. All of that work became more real to them. We can all do with one less flipper.
Hi Elizabeth Weintraub Sacramento Real Estate Agent, Top 1% of Lyon Agents there is really no place in the real estate business for inflated egos or greed....one is as bad as the other....
And yet there is a place where they writhe in pain.
Hi Elizabeth, as they say "some will, some won't, so what, next." And I've learned there's always a next. Found your point about knowing there something is heading within three minutes of a conversation.... I've often said that I know how serious and motivated someone might be within the first 5 minutes of discussion.
Nina Hollander Especially the ones who call for "more information" when all the information they need to know is in the listing. Offer list price, you own it. Screw around, who knows? I don't have to talk to those types to know where they are coming from. What they want to know is will I break fiduciary, and the answer to that is no. It's a wasted phone call.

Elizabeth Weintraub Sacramento Real Estate Agent, Top 1% of Lyon Agents great point... I'm always a bit puzzled by those looking for more information on a listing that has everything about it on-line.
Nina Hollander I used to be able to avoid those calls by putting my team member's name first on the listing, but then some recipient websites changed the way they assigns listings, and co-listings were a problem with them. So with my name first, I deal with the calls. Many listings agents just don't answer their phone, and that's how they deal with it.

No options at my end, Elizabeth... it's a team of three here... me, myself, and I!
