They're still in their soft opening, but you should check out Addison's newest Indian restaurant, Sigree, at 4145 Beltline Road, #218, Addison Texas!
Located just west of Midway Road, you'll find them in the strip center with the UPS Store and The Hub, at the eastern-most end of the row. For those familiar with the area, Sigree is in the old Indian Haat location.
A friend and I were there for dinner one night last week. The service was exemplary (thanks to the manager, Bryan) and the food was delicious! They're still waiting on their liquor license so we couldn't purchase adult beverages, but we were offered complimentary wine. The chef (and owner), Salim, also provided a complimentary samosa appetizer to share and I can unequivocally state it was the best samosa I ever tasted. I'd go back just for that dish alone!
My entree, the chicken korma, arrived at the table steaming hot and mild, just the way I ordered it! There was so much, I had leftovers for the following evening. The meal was capped off with a dish of rice pudding, then we were on our way.
If you're in the neighborhood, or even if you're not, stop in at Sigree Indian Restaurant. It looks like they have lunch buffet, too. Their website shows they have banquet facilities and they do catering. Addison is their second location. The first is in Frisco.
