DAUGHTER LEADS THE PARADE

Here is a picture that would make any family proud. My wife and I have eight children - only one, the oldest daughter chose to join the military. Even though there is a long history of military service in the family, none of the boys have been in the service. We are very proud of our Colonel shown here leading the Armed Forces Day Parade in St. Louis earlier this year. This has very little to do with real estate, however to our family it is very rewarding. We have eight grown childer in our combined family. Only one has chosen to follow in a long parade of familiy footprints. She is our oldest daughter, Wanda. Here she is, a full Colonel in the Army. This year she was chosen to lead the Armed Forces Parade in St. Louis.

Lyle,

Thank you for the service of your Daughter and all the others in your family that have served!!! You should certainly be proud of her! Did you and Karen have a chance to be out there for that parade or was that a picture someone else took for you?

Definitely a reason to be proud! Is your daughter stationed in St. Louis?

Bob and Sharon,

Thank you for your comments.

Bob, No we were not in St Louis at the time. Our daughter Wanda was surprised at being asked to lead the parade at the last minute. Apparently her boss (the General) was unable to lead it this year.

Yes Sharon our daughter is stationed in St Louis and she and her husband Jim are enjoying this duty station very much.
