Who is Buying Homes at Christmas in Sacramento?

Real Estate Agent with RE/MAX Gold DRE #00697006

One of the perks of being in Hawaii around Christmas-time is my phone rarely rings. But not this year, for some reason. Why aren't people with their families celebrating? Why are they calling real estate agents? Well, maybe it's the eggnog. Or, maybe it's a sheer desire to buy a home, which can hit at any moment in a person's life, but especially around the holidays.

Everybody seems happy and snug as a bug in their own homes, so maybe that's part of what drives new home buyers in December? You can read more in my personal blog today at this link: Two Christmas Miracles in Sacramento Real Estate.

Merry Christmas everybody!

Good morning and Merry Christmas,  Elizabeth - maybe it is the egg nog or maybe it's something else.  Whatever the reason, life and real estate go on. Hiccups are no fun but can be solved/cured with the right preparation(knowledge,  plan, insight...).  Congratulations on your two recent closings.

Hi Elizabeth - Isn't it great that you can sit on the beach with your toes in the water and close deals??? Life is good, indeed. Wishing you much continued success in 2019.

Elizabeth, you just proved my point, serious buyers are out there and just to be clear not everyone is Catholic and Christmas does not mean much to them and are focused on buying a home. BTW hope you had a very Merry Christmas:)Endre

Hi Elizabeth Weintraub Sacramento Real Estate Agent, Top 1% of Lyon Agents, it's always a good time to list and buy homes, Christmas included. Macadamia Nut Honey Wine sounds delicious.

Hi Elizabeth: Like you, I'm working from Hawaii right now, which means getting up at 6 AM because it's 8 AM in California. And the phone starts ringing. Christmas is only a problem because the title company was closed on December 24 so had a 4 day Holiday.  Like you, I'm woking on deals from here. Well, one in California and one in Hawaii at the moment. And, yes, I have a broker's license in both states.
