A Perfect Window of Opportunity Gets Blown

By
Real Estate Agent with RE/MAX Gold DRE #00697006

When a listing agent deals with enough buyer's agents, the same story often pops up over and over. It is this crazy talk of commitment, dedication, and unrelenting love for the property, when much of it is puffery. Some buyer's agents will say anything to get into contract. Even when presented with a perfect window of opportunity to get their client a house, they can still come up a day late and a dollar short.

True, some make promises without talking to their buyers, thinking they can talk them into whatever the deal is. They don't realize or perhaps they don't care when the listing agent discovers the agent cannot do what the agent promised. Well, sometimes things work out just the way they are supposed to work out. You can read more about this in my personal blog today at this link: How to Miss the Train in Sacramento Real Estate.

Elizabeth, I so agree, and know the agents want the house more than the buyers at time!

Good morning, Elizabeth Weintraub Sacramento Real Estate Agent, Top 1% of Lyon Agents tighten the offer to purchase as much as possible.... no loose ends.... no slack in the deal.... and if it sounds too good to be true, I make the deposit nonrefundable.... then the buyer can stand up straight or fold....
