Wanda's 10 Ways of Gratitude: Day 7
In an effort to show gratitude to those around me, for 10 days, I will be handing out a specially-made Thank You card, along with a token of appreciation to someone.
A message popped up in private messenger from a Facebook friend who was coming into St. George for a short overnight stay. We agreed to meet and have lunch at a favorite lunch spot in St. George, the Cliffside Restaurant.
Granted, we hadn't been face-to-face in many years but quickly caught up with one another. She drives a tour bus across the country, traveling to almost every state. Her and her husband also raised two boys, similar in age to ours.
We spent 2 hours chatting while gazing out the window at the most amazing views all the way to Zion National Park. Before departing, I handed her a Thank You card with a 6-pack of cupcakes from 25 Main in downtown St. George, a local restaurant.
There were smiles and hugs all around with a promise to visit again soon.
Who knows? Perhaps I'll make someones day during Wanda's 10 Ways of Gratitude!
