2019 Home Maintenance Checklist & Schedule
There's more to owning a home than just the financial responsibility of making timely mortgage and tax payments. Owning a home also means maintaining your home. I like to remind my clients that their home is a living and breathing entity and that it needs to be taken care of on a consistent basis to keep it in tip top shape. Deferred and neglected home maintenance will ultimately cost more to repair than the time and cost involved in maintaining a home consistently throughout the year and every year.
The best way to stay on top of all the tasks involved in maintaining your home is to have an annual schedule and checklist, like the one pictured below. This schedule provides reminders about monthly, seasonal and annual maintenance... easy to follow and easy to do. And with the new year just days away, now is as good a time as any to plan to implement this schedule in 2019.
