Drones for Roof Inspections

By
Real Estate Broker/Owner with HomeBuyer Brokerage

A very important part of a home inspection is examining the condition of the roof. In this particular situation, there was no access to the roof of this Baltimore row house.

Fortunately, our home inspector uses a drone to take video and pictures of the roof and chimney.

If you are buying a home, it's important to work with real estate agents who will work for your best interests. In addition, you'll need to rely on the expertise of a licensed qualified home inspector,  a trusted local lender and an experienced group of settlement professionals.

Buying a home is a team effort and you, as the buyer, have the right to choose the members of your team.

If you are considering buying a home in 2019, read my free home buying guide titled,

"How to Buy a Home"

You don't need to be an expert on the process but you should take the time to create a group of professionals and experts who will guide you through the home buying process.

Best of luck & happy house hunting!

I can imagine a drone would be especially great doing roof inspections on tile roofs where stomping around on them isn't the best.
