Hi Sharon! Happy New Year.

Thank you Gita. I hope that 2019 is great for you in every way possible.
Happy New Year Sondra!
The land is inspiring and it is so interesting to see what kind of land appeals to different people. Sometimes I think we get so busy, we forget to slow down and ponder the wonderment of it all. I find myself taking fewer pictures these days because I want to focus on having the experience and internalizing it instead of trying to capture it to share with others... which is never the same anyway.
Hoping 2019 is a happy, healthy, prosperous year for you!

Happy New Year Carol!
I agree with you. It is interesting to see what kind of land appeals to different people.
I left my camera behind the majority of the last year for the reasons you stated. This year, I plan to start taking photographs again because I do enjoy the photography. It is also easier to share things if I have taken nice photographs.
This is good advice to share.
And, some of those land deals can make your year!

Thanks Roy! I truly enjoy helping people with their land deals.
Happy New Year!
Hi Sondra, I'm particularly partial to the first image in your most excellent post. Getting out with the camera, what a great idea. Happy New Year!

Thanks Dale! Happy New Year. I hope that you are getting time to get out and taking pictures yourself. We have had quiet a few mornings lately with frost covered tree branches.
Sondra, great post, and getting out into nature is such a joy, but not when the temps are below zero! Have a relo buyer coming in later this month looking for acreage - will be fun. Happy New Year!

Happy New Year Joan!!!
I hope things go well with your relo buyer.
I'm hoping our warmer temperatures stay around for the stock show's parade. I can't believe that it is tomorrow already.
Hi Sondra, thanks for this invitation to look at the land! It came at a very timely moment for me.

Steffy,
You are welcome. I hope you get out and start looking at some soon.
Nice quote that stuck with you. Mine from Gone with the Wind is Scarlet, after pulling a partially rotten potato from the ground, saying defiantly "as God is my witness, I'll never be hungry again." (or words to that effect.)
As a hiker and devotee of park lands (both urban and rural) and wilderness areas, I agree that we have beauty all around us. I hiked in some today.

Lottie,
Thanks for your comment! I hope that you've gotten in some more hiking in the last few days. Sounds wonderful.
That is a great quote. For her not being a very nice person really, it is interesting how many lines from that movie have stuck with so many of us for years. They are as applicable now as they were back then.
I couldn't live without some land - to grow things, to have peace and privacy. Love your pictures.
I totally agree with the "let's get outdoors" theme! My husband and I purchased land in Montana a few years ago and if all goes according to plan, this is the year we move out there. Colorado land is amazing as well!

Happy New Year Kat!
Montana is gorgeous. I hope your move goes well. It should be exciting.
