Happy New Year to you!
Let's begin this year with bright and shining ideas. Every year many companies forget to update their "copyright" information until after someone reports it. Besides legal documents, there might be another public facing piece of information relative to your business which should be accurately dated at all times.
While many folks out there may consider my example are minor typos I think professionals in any field should realize that at the end of the day you could be losing business or ruining your image. Not only the tech-aware youth but the elderly citizens are also pretty spot on in the present year 2019 about online presence & social media reviews of a business.
With modern programming technologies items such as copyrights, trademarks etc. may update on your website automatically. But in many cases, items such as e-mail signatures and blog widgets may not update on their own. Based on the type of your business & the area you cover your firm might be using manual forms. So, if you already haven't updated, now is a good idea to change the "year" on those. Take the opportunity this year to automate some of your manual efforts so you can focus on new ideas and initiatives.
For Realtors, I'd recommend checking any active listings for dated material to be updated. With that being said I'll ask you to share your kind thoughts on any other suggestions you might have as a professional so that we can all help others build better businesses for happy customers. Best of luck to everyone!
