Inspirational thoughts for 1/1/19

Fear is stupid. So are regrets. Marilyn Monroe
We leave behind a strange and wonderful 2018 and enter into another year. If you were lucky enough to wake up to the year 2019 you have a lot to appreciate. If you were fortunate enough to see the sunrise or a beautiful sunset last year, you still have a lot to look forward to this year. While the earth orbits around the sun we turn around and look for lost keys, make mistakes, fail and succeed. For every day you live, you learn something new and that makes you smarter and very clever. Be thankful.
If you forgot and then remembered, what you forgot, count your blessings. People with Alzheimer's Disease would trade places with you if they could. Never lose your wit about you. Don't worry about the other person and what they achieved, be glad if you can get up in the morning, shower, brush your teeth, eat a good meal, take care of business, and suddenly realize, somebody you don't even know gives you a smile. Smile back!
Whether you gaze up at the ceiling, the sky, or the roof over your head, be forever grateful. Don't worry so much about gaining a pound or two or more, losing hair, or not getting the deal you hoped to get but didn't get. Stand up straight and be proud of who you are, especially if you tried. There are stars in the sky and a twinkle in your eye when you're happy. You don't have to cry or have regrets because, after all, fear is really pretty stupid. Always remember, there are a lot of people better off because of you. Most of them, you don't even know. Be courageous!
HAPPY NEW YEAR
