Does blogging help sell houses?

Answer:

Does one print advertisement sell a house?

Does one flyer sell a house?

Does one For Sale sign sell a house?

Does placing the property in the MLS sell it?

Does one impromptu open house do the trick?

Does one radio show sell a house?

Does burying a St. Joseph statue sell a home?

Does one nosy neighbor sell a house?

Does one blog post sell a listing?

Does networking with others sell a house?

I don't think so!

Everything works sometimes.

Nothing works all the time!

It's a combination of all the above plus creativity, experience and a lot of hard work.

Here are a few of the positive effects of blogging on my Real Estate business?

I have found many buyers and sellers from blogging.

I enjoy blogging and the instant gratification of the comments.

I wrote a book because of blogging.

I left a big box company after 18 years because of advice received from blogging.

I started HomeRome Realty with the help and confidence that came from blogging.

I have my own radio show and blogging is the perfect tie-in. The radio show feeds the blog, the blog feeds the radio show.

I speak with an AR member every day because of blogging.

I have found many buyers and sellers from blogging. (This one was worth repeating.)

I have sent and received numerous referrals from blogging?

I have referral partners in every state from blogging.

I have friendships both business and personal from blogging.

I promote my listings through blogging.

I make my clients part of my blogging.

Blogging has been a wonderful part of HomeRome Realty.

It's like music, light. It starts with a lone note, a single candle flame and then detonates from there with your reach and frequency. No blogging, no advertising, no online, direct mail, out and about circulation to bump into people means it is like winking at a girl in the dark. You get very poor results. Just blogging won't win the prize... but how you shake and bake those blog posts is the proof in the pudding. It has to be worthwhile blogging wired right to explode in a good way. Catch that wave.
