Beautiful. So very nice you and your husband got to take a 4 week road trip. Did you go through any of Delaware where I live? Neighbors of my in laws used to go to Jekyll Island every year for Christmas after they lost their son to the Vietnam War.

Sally K. & David L. Hanson  We stayed at a campground in Brunswick and were looking for something to do. A Google search of local attractions mentioned it briefly. None of the "Things to Do" info from the campground mentioned it. There is no signage when you get there. It's a well hidden gem. 

Grant Schneider  We walked around the shopping area of Jekyll Island and stopped for some bread pudding at one of the restaurants before finding the beach. It was a beautiful afternoon. 

Sharon Lee  Jekyll Island has a campground. We didn't check it out while there so I can't give any first hand info on it. Prior to knowing about Jekyll Island we had booked Coastal Georgia RV and it was really nice. I can highly recommend it.

JoAnn Moore  Yes, we drove through Delaware. We didn't stop there though. I would love to visit sometime.

Brian England  Well it's nothing like I've ever seen at a beach. I've been to some beautiful beaches in the Carribean and we have nice beaches here but this was magical.

What an interesting place. I wouldn't have guessed it would be so cool, but the photos certainly depict its fascinating charm. Perhaps we'll get to Georgia one of these days and can check it out first hand.

Hi Sharon Tara - the beach on Jeckle Island is so different from any others I have seen. Also, I've never been to a beach in Georgia. I hope it is the first of my more visits.

The photographs are just beautiful! It is as if Mother Nature sculptured those trees. I love the one of you wearing white leaning against the tree too! They are al beautiful!

Yes, we are enjoying retirement. It certainly took some getting used to. We had a lot going on at the same time and things have finally settled down.
